Designer Vika Smolyanitskaya, born in Moscow, had her first ready-to-wear exhibition in Paris in 2009. The collection was inspired by the street style of New York and LA as well as by the paintings of painters such as Roy Lichtenstein and Marisol Escobar and was a success.
